Located on the Columbia river in Vancouver, Washington, this contemporary 2,000 sf residence designed by Scott Edwards Structure exemplifies a northwest modern vernacular.
Description by Scott Edwards Structure The house, constructed for a retired couple, was positioned on the location to maximise the southern view to the river. A big overhang creates a dynamic outside front room and creates sufficient overhang to defend the tough rays of the solar from penetrating the inside of the house. Radiant flooring heating, uncovered wooden construction and walnut cabinetry create a up to date, but heat house. Go to Scott Edwards Structure
